Key Leadership Roles at University Hospital KDU

Director – Medical Services

The Director of Medical Services (DMS) at University Hospital KDU plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing all clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. As the chief medical authority, the DMS is responsible for coordinating the activities of medical staff, supervising clinical protocols, and maintaining compliance with national healthcare standards and regulations. The DMS also facilitates clinical governance, supports continuing medical education, and collaborates with academic departments to enhance teaching and research in medical sciences. This position acts as a bridge between hospital administration and medical professionals to promote operational efficiency, patient safety, and ethical clinical practice.

The Director of the Administration Department at University Hospital KDU is entrusted with the strategic and operational management of the hospital’s non-clinical functions. This includes overseeing human resources, finance, procurement, facilities management, and general services. The Director ensures that administrative policies align with the hospital’s mission and regulatory requirements, while fostering a productive work environment that supports clinical excellence. Additionally, the Director plays a key role in resource planning, budgetary control, and inter-departmental coordination, ensuring that the hospital’s infrastructure and services are efficiently managed to meet the evolving needs of patients, staff, and stakeholders.
