About Us
- Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory is based on Level 1 of UHKDU main building and we are available round the clock for both inward patients and out patients.
- The laboratory is equipped with ABBOTT Architect Chemistry & Immunoassay analysers.
- We have scientific staff and all the laboratory investigations are performed by SLMC registered, qualified medical laboratory scientists.
- Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory of UHKDU plays a crucial role in patient care by analyzing biological samples. It aids clinicians in diagnosing and monitoring various diseases.
- The accuracy and the reliability of results are ensured by actively participating in national external Quality assurance programme (NEQAS) and other international EQA programmes (REQAS).
- Tests that are not conducted within our facility will be referred to certified reference laboratories.

Research activities
- The Biochemistry laboratory is actively involved in both undergraduate and post graduate research in collaboration with the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, KDU
Teaching
- We are a centre for training of undergraduates of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and Faculty of Technology of the KDU.
- Provide internship facility for other various institutes. (CINEC, KIU, ICBT etc)
